What data we collect

• Slack user ID and workspace information — used to identify your account and deliver coaching messages.
• Calendar data (when connected) — meeting titles, attendees, and times are used to generate coaching insights. Calendar content is not stored long-term.
• Chat interactions — messages you exchange with Nadia are stored to provide continuity in coaching conversations.

How we use your data

• To deliver personalized coaching insights and nudges via Slack.
• To improve coaching quality through aggregated, anonymized analytics.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not use your data to train AI models.

Data retention

Chat interactions are retained for the duration of your active account. Calendar data is processed in real-time and not stored beyond the coaching session. When you uninstall the app or request deletion, your data is removed within 30 days.

Data residency & GDPR

Valence maintains separate US and EU data environments to comply with GDPR. Your data is stored in the region associated with your organization's account. EU user data is never transferred to US servers.
